Per-request throttling in Chrome DevTools
Chrome DevTools can slow down individual network requests to test loading states, race conditions, retries, and timeouts

Chrome DevTools has gained a handy feature: per-request network throttling.
You no longer need to slow down the entire network. You can pick a specific request (an API call or an image, for example) and set its delay or speed, or simulate a “slow backend.”
Why this is useful:
- test loading / skeleton states for just one request
- reproduce race conditions
- check the UX with slow APIs without workarounds
- debug retry / timeout logic on specific requests
It works right in the Network tab, with no flags or extensions.
A small thing, but a noticeable improvement to DX.
