Meet Cursor 3 🤖
Cursor 3 moves agents into a dedicated window, adds parallel execution, and improves agent-first workflows.
The Cursor developers have introduced the third version of their editor.
The main addition is Agents Window: all agent work now lives in a separate window. You can now run multiple agents in parallel, and switching between local and cloud environments has become more convenient.
What else:
- 🧠 Better code understanding: the agent dives deeper into the project
- 🌐 A built-in browser: the agent can now “click around” the interface itself
- 🛠 A new interface for managing PRs
💭 My impression:
If you used Cursor simply as an editor + AI, not that much has changed for you.
But if you were moving toward an agent-first approach, this is a substantial update, definitely worth trying.
